Job Description GW Becker, Inc. (GWBI) is looking for Sales Manager who will be expected to provide leadership and direction resulting in continual profitable sales growth by creating new strategic business relationships, establishing and expanding a sales network, working directly with major accounts, and managing the quotation process. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the sales department by supporting sales strategies and establishing goals and objectives that will deliver exceptional, profitable sales growth and results. Lead and develop the estimating department by establishing goals and objectives and developing tools that will deliver precise and accurate quotes. Develop GWBI Sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives. Determine and implement the most appropriate sales market structures for all markets to achieve revenue goals, secure new business opportunities and win customers. Develop and implement sales training tools and processes, including business opportunity analysis models. Track, manage and communicate sales forecasts and results each month. Create a winning atmosphere by effectively communicating the sales strategy to all stakeholders. Develops strong ties with key customers and key accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market. Advise the President on sales directions, competitors and market trends. Confirm, communicate and implement sales goals and strategies for the sales force, and review and update sales strategies for all markets. Competencies Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs. Knowledge of CRM systems. Ability to present information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. Ability to explain policies and procedures, communicate performance expectations and provide feedback to subordinates. Ability to counsel, coach and develop subordinates. Ability to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities. Ability to compare data from different sources to draw conclusions and develop appropriate solutions. Qualifications Overhead crane industry experience is required Minimum of 5 years of sales experience is preferred Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or related discipline Prior experience in a supervisory role Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Position requires 50% travel during the normal work week, with occasional weekend travel as needed.
