Job Description
As an Energy Sales Consultant, your day will consist of cold calling potential clients to build relationships with commercial and industrial business owners and also leveraging your own existing business network. You will discuss energy management and how Navigate Power and Verde Solutions can assist with a unique portfolio of products and services. Developing a wide understanding of the Navigate Power and Verde Solution range of services to deliver a consultancy style sale and become a trusted advisor for your client base is critical for success.
Key Responsibilities
:Calling on your current book of business and professional network to discuss energy management
:Approaching business on a cold call basis to add to your portfolio of clientele
:Gaining an understanding of the area you will work in in order to generate your own pipeline through research of the key contacts in that area and marketing to and approaching them directly
:Procure energy contracts for the businesses you are approaching in order to understand your clients potential requirements
:Develop trusted relationships with your client base always working with the utmost integrity
:Use the Navigate Power and Verde Solutions marketing library/database to present energy solutions to clients, understanding the range of solutions on a consultancy sell basis
:Monitor your client base using the company CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
:Accurately complete all client admin and sales documentation
:Adhere to the companys compliance regulations
:Attend sales training and coaching when necessary
Essential Experience
:A minimum of 1 year of experience in field sales
:Experience in dealing with objections
Desirable Experience
:Experience in B2B Sales
:Knowledge of the energy industry is an advantage (extensive energy training offered)
:Experience in high:value consultative selling would also be an advantage but is not essential.
