Job Description Youngstown area construction company in search of motivated Payroll Manager / Payroll Specialist to handle and independently process complex payroll for 50-200 union employees. DO NOT INQUIRE IF YOU DO NOT POSSESS EXPERTISE WITH INDEPENDENTLY PROCESSING ALL PAYROLL ACTIVITIES. RESUMES ARE NOT BEING ACCEPTED FROM CANDIDATES THAT ONLY HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH HANDLING PAYROLL PROCESSED BY THIRD PARTY COMPANIES (IE ADP) RESUMES ARE BEING ACCEPTED FROM CANDIDATES THAT CAN MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: Full time availability 9AM - 5PM Monday - Friday; occasional overtime. Positive, energetic personality that works well with others and ability to take direction, and excel with payroll tasks Extensive payroll experience including multi union/multi state payroll handling, filing of payroll taxes & quarterly reports, year end W2 and 1099, audit prepping. Excel proficiency with handling formulas and spreadsheets Email proficiency and ability to professionally converse via email State and Federal Payroll Tax Law The following experience is appreciated however not mandatory: E-Verify Notary Public Affordable Care Act policy guidelines College education; business, accounting, finance Benefits including Vacation, pension and sick time are available and will be discussed if approved for an interview.
